2013 Tomie dePaola Award Submission

This is my submission for the 2013 Tomie dePaola Award, illustrating Jane Yolen's poem, Sneeze! The image/text is aimed at toddlers, and I tried something new for me: incorporating a flap into the image. Paper engineering fun!

      Thanks Michele! The challenge was to make an image for a toddler, and I'd just seen some sweet board books that use flaps (kind of a peek a boo thing) and thought it would be cool to try.
